Due to inclement weather, the school permit for Sunday Mass (January 25) has been cancelled.  Parishioners of St. André Bessette who are unable to attend mass on Sunday because of the snowstorm  and school closure are dispensed from Sunday obligation.

Sunday Mass will be made available online (Instagram and Facebook)

We need your help!  We have printed 1,500 raffle tickets in order to raise $30,000 to help build our Church.

We have sent Fundraising Team members to other parishes to sell raffle tickets (St. David’s, Our Lady of Grace and Sts. Peter and Paul).  Their parishioners have graciously supported our efforts.  We still have tickets to sell. 

Please consider purchasing a ticket and help us reach our goal of selling out the raffle draw and raising $30,000. 

You may purchase your ticket in person at the Rectory or online by emailing: raffle@standrebessette.ca. The draw takes place at the Gala at 10 pm. 

You do not need to attend the Gala to win a prize.  If you win, Fr. Peter will call you!

📌 Note:  We would like to inform you of an important change regarding raffle ticket sales. The York Catholic District School Board recently passed a Board Motion that no longer permits gambling of any kind on school or board property.  This motion includes Catholic School Councils and all permit holders including our Parish.   As a result, we are no longer able to sell raffle tickets after Mass at St. Cecilia CES.

We sincerely hope you will continue to support our parish raffle. Tickets are still available for purchase through members of our Fundraising Events Committee, at the Rectory during regular hours or by emailing raffle@standrebessette.ca.
